GRID EATER keeps standard business websites simple. Our website builds start from NZ$495 + GST and eligible standard hosting from around NZ$95 + GST per year. These prices cover the work most small and medium New Zealand businesses actually need. If a project falls outside this scope, we will explain why and quote it before doing extra chargeable work.
Where a business regularly publishes articles, videos, appearances or other reliable online content, we can often build automated feeds or integrations so the website updates itself. Where technically reasonable, this kind of initial automation can be included within the NZ$495 + GST build.
The standard build does not include endless ongoing manual article publishing, product entry or customised content management by GRID EATER. We can instead configure practical customer editing access, automate suitable feeds, or quote an ongoing management service if you want us to keep doing the work.
Where clean, compatible product data already exists, the standard NZ$495 + GST offer can generally include migration of up to 50 existing products. Larger catalogues, difficult exports, extensive image cleanup, unusual variants or unsupported legacy systems may require a separate quote.
If product data does not already exist, we can generally create up to 10 products as representative examples and templates within the standard build. You can then add the remaining products yourself. Once you tell us you are finished, one reasonable final review/check of your product setup is included.
The around NZ$95 + GST annual hosting offer is intended for efficient standard business websites and includes managed website delivery, DNS, SSL and ordinary infrastructure required for that site.
Unusually high traffic, large storage requirements, heavy compute workloads, specialist databases or other advanced infrastructure can require a different hosting arrangement. We will explain this before moving a site onto a more expensive plan.
Third-party provider charges may not be included. Examples can include domain registrations outside an agreed package, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 subscriptions, payment processing fees, paid software licences, paid plugins, external platforms and specialist services controlled by another provider.
